Welcome to Taylor Ridge Farm. We are located in Illinois, approximately 35 miles south of the Chicago city limits in rural Peotone. We are a 4-H and FFA family. We are also members of the Illinois Farm Bureau. Our farm exists as a model for small-scale agricultural producers in our area. Since 2000, we have been breeding and raising ADGA registered dairy goats. Our primary breed is the Lamancha dairy goat, and we also have a few Toggenburgs and some grades. Our high quality herd is bred for good structure, breed standard conformation and milking ability. This year we decided to engage in the meat goat industry to meet the demand for goat meat in our area. This fall will be our first breeding and are excited about this venture. David completed the Meat Goat Certification program through Langston University and is a Certified Meat Goat Quality Producer. Please browse through our site to see what we are working with.
